Africans Unite for Progress (AUP), a dedicated NGO operating in Liberia with a branch in the USA, is thrilled to announce a significant donation from Central States Manufacturing INC., USA. This generous contribution of metal roofing materials is set to bring substantial relief to poor communities across Liberia, particularly during the challenging rainy season.
Liberia experiences an average annual rainfall of approximately 4,624 millimeters (182 inches), one of the highest in the world. This heavy rainfall often results in severe hardships for those living in inadequately roofed homes, leading to leaks, property damage, and health hazards. The donation from Central States Manufacturing will enable AUP to replace leaking roofs in these vulnerable communities, providing them with much-needed protection from the rain.
